Info: Seldom seen self titled LP by Jose Briamonte, the same arranger for many of Brazil's best music from the 60's and early 70's. With many original compositions and also some great version of Tim maia, Cassiano and more. Top rare LP not seen for a a good while according to popsike.

Grading Info

Before any grading is commenced, LP's (12 inch) are vacuum cleaned using a non alcoholic solution on the Okki Nokki JB1 cleaning machine and housed in a new non PVC plastic bag inner sleeve - a non PVC plastic outer sleeve is also used.

Grading Comments for disk: Disk is in the best possible shape for this rarity. No scratches, original full gloss! Sit's perfectly flat on the platter. Play back is stunning.

Grading comments for sleeve: Sleeve has no writting, splits or sticker and tape! A clean example with minimal wear.

Grading comments for label: Great labels, clean, no writting, stickers or residue. Very bright and alive colours.

We don't beleive in false advertising and so grade with care- we accept returns.



Before any grading is commenced, LP's (12 inch) are vacuum cleaned using a non alcoholic solution on the Okki Nokki JB1 cleaning machine and housed in a new non PVC plastic bag inner sleeve - a non PVC plastic outer sleeve is also used.

We are using the internationally accepted Goldmine grading scheme which is slightly modified to reflect the situation here in Brazil, the reality is Brazilian records were made to completely different specifications than in the U.S and the Goldmine scheme is based on records made in the U.S. Brazilian records were often made using a thinner cover and therefore we have a slightly modified the system to take that into consideration - our EX and NM are exactly the same as the Goldmine sytem though our VG has one slight difference - This system is a visual only process, not an aural one.

We beleive that Mint should not be used with unsealed items and that items falling below the Very Good grade will not be placed for sale on eBay, therefore we have a very simple grading scheme falling in between three catagories, they are...

Near Mint: Nearly Perfect. Vinyl will be glossy and free of visible defects. The label will be free of defects too. The sleeve will have no creases, no ringwear wear or splits of any kind.

Excellent: The record will have light scuffing and very light scratches that won't affect the listening experience. The label will have some visible spindle wear under certain light. The sleeve will have minor wear such as a touch of ringwear, mild shelfwear and in some cases a small bottom seam split of less than one inch, though this will always be noted.

Very Good: Very good is a more pronounced EX. The disk may have noise inbetween tracks and during the intros and outros of tracks. There will be a possibility of some noise during short passages too though none of the afore mentioned noise should overpower the music. There may be light scratches deep enough to feel with a finger nail and some of these may sound as a click upon passage. Some scuffing will be evident. The sleeve may have ringwear, shelfwear, front and back wear and maybe a small writting or price tag/sticker, no more than one seam may have been repaired with tape, though this will always be noted.

Though we do not use the Plus or Minus system it is possible for an item to fall somwhere in between the above gradings - this will always be explained.

Note: Audio recorded and then converted to MP3 for internet streaming is not to be used for any grading references please - digitally recorded sound is an appoximation of it's analogue equivilent and the process of preparing sound for internet streaming renders aural evaluation practically useless, so we do not think it's a good idea to aurally grade.

In a nutshell we offer a 20 day satisfaction guarantee with no questions asked.

We ask the item is sent back in sufficient packaging, in the same condition it was advertised in and in a registered package, if not in a registered package eBay will not allow us to refund you. The buyer pays return shipping fee's.

Shipping
We use the Brazilian postal service and will only ship via Registered postage - below are two forms, Priority which means your package will jump the que and Economy postage which means your item will stay in the line - The Brazilian postage service is one of the most expensive in the world though thankfully you get what you pay for - that is a reliable and accurate service throughout the year!

We try to ship the same/next day, always, though no later than 5 days, a week, after purchase date.

Below is a table of the postal prices - note that we have no control over these prices and that we also do not charge for any packaging materials.

Packaging

We use sufficent packaging which includes extra cardboard, a plastic bag, bubble wrap and plenty of strong parcel tape, we mark each package as fragile also stating not to try to bend or subject it to any heat or impacts. Disks are removed from the sleeve/jacket and are stored outside the sleeve/jacket to avoid any splits during transit.

Payment: Payment expected after two to three days from the date and time of sale, a maximum of seven is given by Ebay, after seven days we relist the item and file a non paying bidder with Ebay will be filed.
