Description
Here is a copy of the extremely rare debut 7" from the great Swedish noisesludgepunk band Brainbombs, Jack The Ripper Lover b/w End, released in 1989 in a very small pressing of 553 as BRAIN-1; this copy is #520/553.
I remember reading the review of this record in FORCED EXPOSURE, where is was very enthusiastically compared, if my recollection is correct, with the best work of Drunks With Guns, and being eager young collector freak that I was, scrambled to acquire as many copies of the record as I could, after the advice of the esteemed editors.
Condition: Fold-over pictue sleeve xerox-type cover is Vg++; I have seen copies of this record where the cover has "BRAIN-1" clearly printed in the upper right hand corner of the cover, but this copy has the "BRAIN-1" a bit blurry/unclear, as if this cover had been photocopied from another. However, even the copies where the "BRAIN-1" was clearly visible appear to be xerox-type copies themselves, so perhaps this one was just a duff copy that was used anyway out of expediency or what-have-you. Regardless, I purchased this copy way back in the early 1990's along with several other copies of the record, so it is definitely an original as the label is clearly numbered "#520/553".
The Vinyl is also conservatively graded as Vg++ and has been barely ever played.
This is an excellent copy of the record and you will be quite satisfied!!
