Boyd Rice NON Solitude 7" -RARE and Autographed Death In June Throbbing Gristle

You are looking at a copy of the NON (aka:Boyd Rice) "Solitude" record that was released back in 2000 on the Mute Record label (Mute 250) 
Side 1 features "Solitude" -playable @ 45 rpms. A repetitive, yet very lush and layered bit of dreamy pop.
Things get very interesting (not to mention Harsh and Noisy) on Side 2- it's entitled "receive the flame" (locked loops)  Meaning that there are 8 "loops" of sound that will play continuously unless the needle is moved.  Playable speeds are listed as: 16rpm/33 rpm/45 rpm/78 rpm.  AND- as if that wasn't enough, the record is "Multi-Axis" meaning there is a 2nd hole drilled off-center on the record itself, which is meant to be played as well. 
Record is in good condition- Side 1 has some light scuffing, and Side 2 has some very thin, and mostly cosmetic scratches- probably from having the record player's needle swing wildly all over the place! None of the scratches affect the play-
One last thing- this record was signed by Mr. Rice himself, at the signing for his latest book (NO) which was held at Vacation Records, Hollywood CA -December 19, 2009.  Boyd simply signed his name, as well as the "NON logo" on the upper right hand corner of the record's back cover.

The following is taken from the "Iconoclast" website:  "Solitude"(2000) a limited edition 7" single pressed primarily to promote the next NON album "Receive The Flame" (1999), the three releases being timed to take the work of Rice into the next millennium. "Solitude" featured a standard format A side, with the B being designed to play off-centre locked grooves at various speeds in other words that unique NON format. The album "Receive The Flame" featured "Solitude" and was a return to experimentation with pure noise, augmented with bubblegum pop loops and a selection of musicians playing notes that are stretched to breaking point. In short, classic NON material. '
