Another Blak Matterz goodie :
Mighty fender rhodes grooves on this rare philippinian jazz-funk record. Pretty much everything is killer
and conjures up sounds of Herbie Hancock and Roy Ayers. "Language of Love" is simply stunning!
This session includes massive use of moogs, fender rhodes, clavinet, slapping bass, drum breaks,
a jazzy version of billy joel "just the way you are" and skip scarborough "don't ask my neighbours".
It was already a rare groove favourite back in the days at the time of it's 1982 re-release on US Pausa
imprint which itself is a tough one.
This is however not the repress! It is the 1978 philippinian original pressing on Horizon. I honestly
don't think you're going to see this one in a long time so please don't sleep.
Record has a couple of very light surface scratches and looks and sounds great.
Cover has been kept opened in a schrinkwrap so it's pretty perfect in that way. There is a light split on
one corner
