An incredible copy which additionally contains exclusive only to Deluxe Version an archival print of portrait of Bowie from The Man Who Fell To Earth signed by Geoff MacCormack personalised with same No.8
The packaging for this book was opened on delivery from publication but item has only briefly been handled with cotton gloved hands. I have not taken images of actual item to retain its integrity.
FROM STATION TO STATION: TRAVELS WITH BOWIE 1973-1976. SIGNED LIMITED EDITION BOOK FROM GENESIS PUBLICATIONS. This super rare deluxe edition is signed by David Bowie and his childhood friend Geoff MacCormack who joined Bowie's band as a backing singer following the release of Ziggy Stardust.
Book features approximately 200 photographs and items of memorabilia including tour programmes, tickets and letters, mostly taken from Geoff's personal archives, nearly all of which are being published for the first time. The large format page size (320mm x 240mm), along with the luxurious, heavyweight art papers used throughout the book, give the perfect platform for showing off Geoff's intimate account of life with David Bowie. Every copy is bound by hand in Italy and housed in a unique presentation case which folds completely flat, refolds and fastens snugly around the book. All copies feature the title stamped in 22-carat gold on the spine as well as 22-carat gold page edging. This rarer Deluxe Copy (Deluxe versions No.1-350) is quarter-bound in leather, with a title plaque inset onto the front cover. Brand new as boxed in original Genesis shipping carton. An incredible item.
