Records Condition VG+ very much luster still, a few hairline that don't affect play !!

Manoranjan is a 1974 Indian Hindi film directed by Shammi Kapoor. It is a remake of the English classic 'Irma La Douce' where Sanjeev Kumar plays Jack Lemmon's role, Zeenat Aman Shirley Maclaine's and Shammi Kapoor plays Lou Jacobi's. Hotel Casanova is called Hotel Mauj. Manoranjan is perhaps the only Hindi movie where prostitution was presented as a 'fun' activity without moralising and the lead actress sleeps with men other than the hero and is not an issue. For 1974 the film in India was a revolution was panned by the critics and the audience due to the sense of immorality.

R.D. Burman composed the memorable songs. Asha Bhosle earned a Filmfare Nomination as Best Female Playback Singer for the song "Chori Chori Sola Singar", the only nomination for the film. This is a Rare Collector's item as it is very hard to get in such great condition.

Gradings : (*Condition is based on visual and grading)

Mint - The record is in brand new condition With no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover & any extra items (inserts, etc) are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and / or creasing.

VG+ ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original luster may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, may have some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits,
