  • Grading
Our records are conservatively and visually graded only, using the 'Goldmine' Standard.
The first grade refers to the vinyl record itself, the second grade refers to the cover.
e.g. A record listed as NM/EX is understood to have a Near Mint Record in an Excellent cover.

MINT (M)
Absolutely perfect in every way. A sealed, unplayed or new record.
NEAR MINT (NM)
Looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time.
EXCELLENT (EX) May show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches.  There may be some very light ring wear or discolouration, but it should be barely noticeable. EX covers might have some very minor seam wear or a small split, may have some defacing, such as an import cut-out marking.
VERY GOOD (VG)
Many of the imperfections found on an EX record are more obvious, but for many listeners a VG record or sleeve will be worth the money.
A VG cover may have the marks and wear of an EX cover but to a more obvious level. 
Good (G)
We do not sell records of a grade of G or below.
