Description

Bob Dylan vs. A.J. Weberman or "The Self-Proclaimed World's Greatest Songwriter meets the World's Greatest Dylanologist".

A.J. Weberman was the first person to write a serious book about Dylan. In doing so A.J. interviewed Dylan and recorded the interview portion for this LP record. Dylan wasn't happy about the recordings and sued Weberman and Folkways Records . This album was banned from production and most copies had to be destroyed by the manufacturer(label). This copy is one of 35 that were shipped to a large retail record chain in Los Angeles in 1977. The record contains two songs, "Father Bruce" by Grace Slick and "A.J. Weberman" by David Peel and group.

The record also comes with an 8 page booklet "The Beginner's Course in Dylanology". The booklet tells about the story of this LP and more information about the study of Dylan. The record is in Mint condition, has never been played and it is "Guaranteed" to be Authentic. Unlike some other "Colored" label versions(blue, pink etc.), this Black Label is the original Folkways Records release.

This record is an Historic record. A must for any Dylan collector. The last "Record Collector's Guide" listed the value at $300.00.
