Description

About This Record.  This is the original Bob Dylan, first LP, with the rarely seen Columbia six-eye STEREO label!  Much rarer than the scarce mono.  I've seen two copies in 30 years of collecting; this was my first, about 20 years ago, for the price I paid then!  NO reserve.

Cover Condition.  The easily replaceable cover (is identical to second pressing issue but this is definitely the first!) is G+; looks VG-, but the seams look repaired by the previous owner, and there is writing and sticker damage top right corner, and small pen top right, some crinks, general wear, rounded corners.

Vinyl Condition. The labels are VG+, with slight signs of spindle wear.  No tears, writing, tape, or other damage.  Small writing on one label ('R') like on the front cover.  The vinyl is a strong VG; looks almost VG+; no feelable scratches.  Plays with some slight background noise.  No problem areas; plays VG and VG+ depending on song; worst song is first cut that has the most pops and background his in a few spots.

Grading Vinyl.  I use modified Goldmine grading standards.  Mint/NM/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G.  On rare occasions I may use VG++.  I DO NOT use the EX grade!  My VG+ is EX to EX+, and my VG is EX-.  I grade conservatively; look at my feedback!   I play grade my vinyl with an MC Ruby 3 Micro Benz cartridge.  I do not alter the records, covers, or labels with pens, tape, glue or other stuff.  When I notice such damage, I point it out in detail!
