Description

Just for those vinyl collectors that want the best.

1963 Radio Station Promo in Mono from the US.

This is Bob Dylan's 2nd studio album released May, 1963.

But really this is the first album that was written by Dylan.  His first album, which barely broke even, only had 2 Dylan songs.

This white label Promo Radio Station album  has  several songs  listed that did not appear on the

final album: 'Rocks and Gravel'  and 'Let me Die in My Footsteps' side 1

                          'Gamblin' Willie's Dead Man's Hand side 2

I have not played this album, but the label on the record  states that it has the unreleased songs

that appear on the promo label.  But those songs are NOT on the record itself, it actually plays the songs as listed on the record jacket.

This album went Platinum in the US and #1  in the UK.

#97 on Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Albums.

In 2002 it was one of the first 50 albums chosen by the Library of Congress to be added to the National Recording Registry.

This album established Dylan as a great song writer.  "...he used traditional melodies as the basis for highly personal song writing."

This is the music of my youth...
