ORIGINAL PRESSING OF THE GREAT WHITE WONDER 1969 - WHITE LABEL
GRANDDADDY OF ALL DYLAN BOOTS
I've seen others listing their Great White Wonder Album as an "original." This is absolutely one of the original copies. The text below from discogs explains:
One of the most famous bootlegs of all time. This is the first bootleg ever to be produced in the rock-and-roll era. Great White Wonder was originally released in the United States in July of 1969. There was little on this piece to identify it to the world. It came out in a blank white gatefold cover, with blank white labels. The only identifying mark whatsoever is the matrix number: GF 001/2/3/4. (gwa 1Aa version 1).
The albums listed match those described above with the matrix GF001, GF 002, etc.
All four sides are pristine and shiny. They have been stored in very good plastic/paper covers. See picture. There are no scratches or scuffs. I’m not a professional record rater, but these are in the best shape of anything I am selling. I would have to say they are at NM.
The inner part of the gate seems to have had some ink spilled on it, or something. See the picture.
======
I have a large collection of Dylan boots that I'm wanting to sell. Most of them were collected in the 1980s. I'm pricing to sell, and have come under the competition. I've described the album to the best of my ability. If you want me to double check something, please do.
Ask questions and satisfy yourself before you bid and buy. I can double check anything you like. I don't do returns because I don't normally sell albums on ebay! I am not a professional record seller or grader, just a fan who took care of the Dylan boots! :-)
