Bob Dylan – No Direction Home 4 lp 220gm box 2008(out of print)

 

Sealed/ New  (shrink wrap tearing slightly, cover and contents mint/ new).

Now out of print and hard to find audiophile, 220-gram lp version (which sold for about $30 more than the standard 140gm version when new) of box 7 of the “Official Bootleg” Bob Dylan release series on Columbia Legacy. Includes 4 lps and a 12” x 12” 60-page book. Highlights music used in the Martin Scorsese biopic of the same name which gives unique perspective to Dylan’s early career. Rare previously unreleased material contained here is choice, with the 1959 recording “I Got Troubles,” alternate studio takes on such songs as “Mr. Tamborine Man,” “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue,” “She Belongs to Me,” “Stuck Inside of  Mobile…,” “Visions of  Johanna,” etc., and rare live versions of classics like “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Masters of War,” “Ballad of a Thin Man,” “Chimes of  Freedom,” “Maggie’s Farm,” and  “Like a Rolling Stone.”
