Description

Hi there once again eBayers!

Here I am offering a rare Bob Dylan "Let Me Die In My Footsteps", Trade Mark of Quality Label, Bootleg (Unofficial) Yellow/Orange Vinyl Album.  The Catalogue No is BD001, etched into the run off on the vinyl.

Released in 1973, this is unofficial album, released by GWW (Great White Wonder) under the Trade Mark of Quality label.  The release date is uncertain, but probably around the late 1960s.

The cover is plain orange with the title stamped and a sticker with the label name.  It is displaying minor edge wear, some discolouration and age.  The inner sleeve is plain paper and is slightly discoloured with a corner fold.

Conservatively, I would rate the vinyl as Very Good+.  Any marking is very minor.  I have played the vinyl and it plays well.  The same may not be said of the recording quality.  It does not click, skip or stick.

The label, sleeve and inside the cover (inside where the record goes), is ink stamped "Peter Duffy".  This record comes from Peter's vast vinyl collection.  We have been informed that Peter was a founder of 3RRR FM radio station in Melbourne, Victoria.  I have secured Peter's collection and, in general, it is clear that he had eclectic tastes and valued the vinyl highly.  Many of the covers show small to significant wear from storage and I have assumed that the covers held very little interest for him.

Catalogue No - BD001.
