Description

An original 1st press of JWH on the UK CBS label from 1968. Matrix 2/2. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover stamped in red 'Stereo' - these would be among the very 1st stereo copies available. Also included is the original orange CBS advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% original.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb shape and clearly has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks - but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. And it really needs to on a paired back acoustic album like this - any interference is just going to get in the way. And I am glad to report interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of light static in the odd isolated moment. Truly a super rendition of this stone cold classic!!
Cover (Ex+) Wowzers - I've never seen a copy like this before - it practically looks new. Shiny front with literally no marking or creases. The rear, which often picks up a it of dirt, is as clean as anything I've seen. No ageing or markings at all. The spine is 100% intact and edge wear is non-existent. A real one off copy this...
Inner (Ex+) No splits or ageing.
