Description
Original issue of the legendary Bob Dylan bootleg Great White Wonder, issued by the notorious Trademark Of Quality in August, 1969, in an initial run of 400 copies. Rocolian "Dupre and his Miracle Sound" labels on vol. 1, sides A & B, and vol. 2 side B. Blank label on vol. 2 side A. No stampers in the run-out grooves. This copy is one of an unknown number with a hand-painted jacket; except for a mention in the Discogs.com entry for this record, I haven't seen any reference in internet sources for an issue with hand-painted jackets. (The painting was done before the ink-stamping, as the ink is on top of the paint.) The record is VG++, just a shade under EX, with bright glossy surfaces, but a couple of very light hairline marks. The jacket is VG with rubbing, wear along the seams, browning and light soiling. Small tears and short seam splits at the corners. Foxing (brown spots due to age) on the label of vol. 1, side A. With new paper inner sleeves.
