Description

An original UK 1st press on CBS Matrix A1/B1. Large format '33' - these are the initial copies. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover with flips. Original Inner. 100% genuine and 100% complete. A cracking copy.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and given the vintage one could be forgiven for saying this LP is in marvellous condition. A couple of very slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Very nice and clean warm audio. Beautiful ambiance and presence. Only a few minor crackles in one brief spot'. Nothing disagreeable at all. Very consistent otherwise and easily reveals this 60's classic fully. Often the acoustic half doesn't hit the mark...but. here. you will be treated to clear and well resolved audio on the 2nd side. I haven't heard the 2nd side play this well....hmmm...hardly ever! I'd like to say quite a few copies can manage to do this - but the stark reality is....it is highly unusual.
Cover (Ex-) The front is looking very nice indeed with minimal sign of ageing. The rear has avoided the worst of the ageing too - very few look like this in 2024!. Slight edge wear in the odd spot...and firm openings. Spine is 90% intact and the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. A on inch bottom edge split.
