Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting records in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!
Here is my original 1985 Biograph box set - a good Greatest Hits selection plus 21 "rare or unreleased" tracks - CBS's first dip into the reservoir of great unreleased Dylan material. My copy is pretty nice, mostly Ex vinyl and VG box. I bought this second-hand, couldn't afford one at the time of release
Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look. My last 3 pictures show the two enclosed booklets, one of which has Dylan discussing tracks, other is essays / history, in god-awful collage front cover.
Box etc - Hinged box is intact, no splits, and not squashed - however, there are a couple of creases on the front, where it's perhaps had something heavy stacked on it, or had a bump in the post. Front also has a small dent, and a mark near top right corner. Back has a small blackish stain, running from the side 3 tracklist to the side 4 tracklist. Booklets are good but not like-new, show wear from normal handling but no tears or big damage. Records are in good-quality replacement poly-lined Goldring sleeves - I must have been unimpressed with whatever inner sleeves came with it - Biograph didn't have custom inners.
Records - I can't see ANYTHING wrong with seven of the ten sides. Side one has a tiny mark on track 1. Side four has a short fingernail mark, and another very short one, on track 1. On side 10, I can see three light scratches on one track. So they have survived very well.
Kinda historic, but not especially expensive..
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £3.00 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard - or whatever's necessary.

Dispatch will usually be "next day".
Collection in person is welcome.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.
They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.
This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid.
Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - there is no combined postage, I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.
If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.
International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!)

Applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid.
I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
