Record is in VG to VG+ condition also. (record has some surface marks and
some pressure? marks. no feel-able scratches. good gloss. closer to VG+
actually) 1979 date on cover. show was aired in February / March 1981 in
support of Bob Dylan's album "Slow Train Coming" LP release. comes with a
cue sheet that reads:
RR 143 (side 1) "This is the first in a series of 4 parts dealing with the phenomenom of Bob Dylan.
Considering the longevity of Dylan's career, the great sucess he had with the SLOW TRAIN COMING LP,
and the continuing controversy over his message, we believe this series is warranted. The contents of the shows
have been compiled from previously published materials (biographies, newspaper and magazine articles, record
reviews, & interviews) presented together with songs from a broad selection of Dylan albums. The first segment
entitled "The Protest Years", covers the early years in Dylan's career (circa 1961 - 64) when he would have an incalculable
effect on the growing radicalization of young Americans"
RR 144 (side 2) "In this, the second part of our 4-part series, entitled "Dylan the Prophet", we look at the years 1964 -
1973, when Dylan pioneered "mystical visionary" music, and became a hip existential hero, leading the way to a kind of
karmic spirituality"
