Description
Up for auction is a SIGNED, Rare, BO DIDDLEY vinyl album in MINT CONDITION, signed on front in 1989 in Black Paint Pen! (Not an ink ‘Sharpie’). "GO Bo Diddley", Chess Records Label. Cover is Mint with nice square corners, straight sides and no split seams. The vinyl has the blue Chess label, has never been played and is extremely shiny + glossy. My bona fides:
During 12 years collecting Memorabilia for the Hard Rock Cafes Worldwide (mainly guitars - see magazine photo of me picking up Bo’s "cigar box", below), I would collect the item from the Artist in-person, and would bring a few pristine vinyl album covers for the Artist to sign with paint pens I color-coordinated to look great with the cover art. These pens actually write in paint -- color or metallic -- so the contrast is bright and looks amazing....not just standard blue ink Sharpie like most signatures.
I was also a serious vinyl record collector, buying only the best records I could find, often still sealed, or in Mint condition; many first pressings. So the albums
I have for auction are in fact very collectible in and of themselves -- combined with artful, legitimate signatures signed in my presence -- Truly unique + one-of a-kind. The vinyl is protected in expensive VRP-type audiophile rice paper inner sleeves, and the covers are protected by imported audiophile re-sealable clear acetate outer sleeves.Priority Mail in well-packed sturdy corrugated LP Mailer in USA is $8.50.
