Excellent condition, light surface marks – side a, no noticeable groove wear on either side, plays with surface noise (hear sample), slight discoloration on outside edge of labels (see scans), vocal/guitar with Leroy Foster - guitar & Big Crawford - bass, side b – instrumental, Chicago, 1948

I have been collecting & playing traditional blues for over 40 years. Many of the records offered for sale have been in my collection for some time. Records are graded visually and confirmed by playing. I grade 78s conservatively using the VJM scale. This means records graded N- are nearly spotless and records graded G, although considerably worn, still play with music being slightly dominant to surface noise. Specific flaws will be noted along with the grade.
