Each of the records in this highly limited fifteen record set were created, down to the gram, to be exact replicas of the original Blue Note US issues. The vinyl is extra heavy like the US originals, where applicable, and bears no Japanese imprints. The only difference with the vinyl, where applicable, is the absence of a deep groove imprint on the label. The heavy-weight covers were similarly reproduced and also bear no Japanese imprints. The only difference with the covers is that they were made with a different type of cardboard. The records from this series are arguably the best sounding jazz Japanese reissues of them all. Everyone is welcome to these records, but audiophiles will be particularly pleased.
