Donald Byrd, Charlie Rouse, Pepper Adams, Walter Davis Jr., Sam Jones and Art Taylor perform on "Byrd in Hand". Excellent hard bop in it's glorious MONO presentation. This is a first pressing 47 W 63rd St. NYC on both deep grooved labels. RVG & Ear in Runout. "R" is present under the E on labels. Jacket is VG with two inch seam split on bottom and top front. Spine, front, and back are fine. Vinyl is VG+ with light marks that do on a couple of spots have very light background tics. Minor but there nonetheless. Good playback on my Mono cart. A nice rare piece.
