Here is "THE" Blue Note to collect if you can find one.  Only about 500 were ever pressed.  Of these less than 200 had the 47 W 63rd NYC 23 on one side.  Rumor of a double 23 has been around on a promo for years, yet no one has to date provided proof.  This is one of the rarest jazz lp's ever produced and certainly sought after by collectors!  Now the bad news...  This lp is in G condition.  From start to finish there is background noise.  At times it is more noticable than at others.  On side two there are whole sections of the lp where the music is far and away the focus of my attention.  However to be fair there is a fairly loud constant background sizzle/crackle pretty much throughout.  On my Titan Mono cart/VPI HR-X it was play graded on both sides from start to finish with no skips or repeats, even though there are many light and medium scratches and scuffs on both sides.  Hank still sounds great and the messege is still in the grooves.  PLEASE do not bid and expect to get "Lucky" as it is as I say less than what I would ever normally put up for auction.  It is just so very rare that it warrants a run.  Good Luck!!!
