Blue Mitchell     The Cup Bearers   Riverside RM 439 mono

 

 Blue Mitchell (t), Junior Cook (ts), Cedar Walton ( p), Gene Taylor (b) Roy Brooks (d) recorded 1963

Label both sides is blue "Bill Grauer Productions" with microphone . Address on back cover is "235 West 46th Street, New York City 36".

Side 1 looks and plays VG++, near M-. Side 2 looks VG++ and plays mostly VG++ with some VG+, mostly on quiet passages.  On side 2 there are some pressing dimples, some very light scuffs and a small light scratch near the end of the last track. Record is glossy and grooves do not look heavily worn. 

Cover is VG

Front cover has moderate wear and some removed sticker damage near the bottom of trumpet valves. Back cover has light to moderate wear.  Bottom seam split app. 1 inch at pocket.  Seams have heavily worn spots especially at the corners.
