Description
You are bidding on "Blot: Sacrifice In Sweden" by Blood Axis. This is the first and only vinyl pressing, on Cold Meat Industry Records. Catalog number CMI.X. Released in 1998. Comes in a gatefold sleeve in an editon of 600 copies. Included is a one sided A4 info sheet. Digitally recorded on ADAT 15th November 1997 at Skylten, Linköping, Sweden for the 10th anniversary feast of Cold Meat Industry. Reprocessed, remixed and mastered at Studio Absenta, Westminster, Colorado in December 1998. Wear and light creases on edges, beginnings of ringwear due to weight of vinyl. Artwork and text unblemished. Color inner gatefold in great shape. Insert in perfect condition. Included with this copy is issue no. 9 of Voltage, a magazine covering industrial, gothic and electronic music. The magazine was published at the time of Blood Axis's tour and contains an article by Michael Moynihan (Let Freedom Wring") about the censorship faced on tour. The issue also contains a review of Blot, an interview with Genesis P. Orridge, an announcement of the death of Bryn Jones (Muslimgauze) and coverage of Snog, Spahn Ranch, Urania, Purr Machine, Imperative Reaction, Kevorkian Death Cycle, The Aggression, Fockewolf, Bethany Curve, Meat Distributors, and many more. The zine has a spot of moisture damage on the top couple inches but was not included with the original release. I got it with the record when the tour occurred. So, this is the ONLY copy with this zine included.
