Description
This is a really nice copy of Black Sabbath's first album, entitled simply 'Black Sabbath'. Condition is superb and it is certainly a record that would grace any collection.
Catalogue Number: VO 6 847 903 VTY
Label: Vertigo 'Spaceship'
Matrix Numbers : VO=6 1Y//2 420 and VO 6 2Y//2 420
Cover: Original gatefold sleeve in near mint condition, no scuffs or wear of any kind that I can see.
Record: Excellent. Probably in as good a condition as you will find for a record of this age. The disc does have a few very minor marks but you really do have to look pretty hard in a good light to see them and they do not affect playback at all.
Centres: Near Mint. Exceptionally clean with no spindle marks. The only fault with the centres is on the Side 1 label which has the name "MIK" neatly written on it in very small letters (I have attached a close up photo that shows this).
Inner Sleeve: Still in its original plastic lined inner sleeve which is also in excellent condition.
Payment by Paypal or cheque please.
My records are always sent out using 1st Class post (UK) or Airmail (Rest of the World) and I use high quality, purpose-made mailers. I care very much about the records you are buying, after all, they have been in my care for many years, and I want them to get to you safely as much as you do. Normally these services are reliable but things can go wrong and that is why I strongly recommend that you pay a little extra on the postage to insure your item against non-delivery or damage in transit. I will gladly pay compensation in full (bid price + postage and packaging) on INSURED ITEMS ONLY that fail to arrive after 8 weeks from the date of despatch or which are damaged in transit. I always obtain a "Certificate Of Posting" as proof that an item I have sold has been despatched therefore please note that NON-INSURED ITEMS ARE DESPATCHED AT BIDDERS OWN RISK and that I cannot compensate for any loss or damage of uninsured items. Please contact me for costs of insuring items.
Can be sent overseas - postage dependant on location and weight, please contact me for prices.
All of the records I am selling (regretfully!!) at the moment are from my own treasured collection and nearly all have been in my possession from new (I AM NOT A DEALER) . I also have a rare copy of Sabbath's Paranoid album on the 'Spaceship' label and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath currently up for sale for anyone interested. Please see these listings by taking the following route: BUY Advanced Search On left under "Items/Find Items" select "By Seller" and in "Enter Sellers User ID" put reygate 1956. Good luck and many thanks for your interest.
