Description
Here is another sample of the goodies found in the guru's closet.
This is a nice version of the rare Charlie Parker and His BeBop Groups LP Record from 1950. My research says this LP was primarily sold mail order, and never had an outer jacket. Label is the yellow with brown printing. Dial number is LP 901A and 901B on the second side. Engraved in the run-out grooves is "DLP-21" and "DLP-22." Anyone looking at this listing already knows EXACTLY what this record is and what the track list is, but I'll list the tracks after I describe the condition. Condition is commensurate with ANY record that is more than 50yers old. There are some minor surface scratches and maybe even some scuffs. There is one skip right at the very beginning of the second side, after the 2second skip, it plays the side all the way through. There is some minor surface noise, and a few light ticks, nothing that would disturb your musical pleasure. I will clean it on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and see if that takes the skip out, probably not would be my guess. Label is in VG or better condition, overall condition of record is at least VG. Open is low and set to stimulate some bidding excitement! There is NO BUY IT NOW price, don't ask!Track List, Side 1:
