Description

Semi-Rare first Billy Joel album, original release from 1971. This original mix is the one that was mastered at the wrong speed, making Joel's voice sound unusually high in pitch. Correction to that huge error, and many remixes, and reworks to the songs have been done on consequent releases of this album (without Billy Joel's input). There is a whole article on Wikipedia about this album, documenting the history, and also the differences between this original pressing, and what the album is now. I've included a snippet video, this is the actual item up for auction, the audio is raw, has not been manipulated, or cleaned up.
