Rare original 1971 Monarch pressing of Cold Spring Harbor on the Family Productions label This is Billy Joel’s debut album, featuring the original mastering with the higher-pitched vocal mix—a unique piece of music history and highly collectible.
• Deadwax / Matrix info (Side B): FPS2700 B-12 RE (MR) △16699-X
• Monarch pressing confirmed by (MR) stamp and delta number
• Etched date: 12-10-71
Condition:
• Vinyl: VG– (light surface marks, Side B Track 1 has a few brief skips in the beginning; rest of the record plays well. I tried to take a picture of the area where you can see the warp which causes the skip).
• Sleeve comes apart but is still attached at 2 sides (see photo)
• Jacket: VG (front and back are clean with only light wear; spine shows some wear and has a small section of tape—see photos)
• Labels: Clean, Family Productions logo intact
Overall, a very presentable copy of this rare first pressing. Will ship securely in a protective mailer with padding
