Title/Label: Cassampler (BPC 8654
Cassette Condition: Ex (I don’t know how it plays but looks great)
Cover Condition: Ex (only light wear)
Notes: This super rare promo only cassette is a Canadian only item. It has the original cassette plastic case. I once sold one in about 1990 for $500 to a collector who had spent four years looking for it.
Description: Side One has “The Classics”
Your Generation, Mony Mony, Hot In The City, Dancing With Myself, White Wedding, Rebel Yell, Flesh For Fantasy, Eyes Without a Face. Side Two has Tracks from Whiplash Smile: To Be A Lover, Fatal Charm, Soul Standing By, Sweet Sixteen, Don’t Need A Gun, Man for All Seasons.
Title/Label: Sweet Sixteen/White Wedding (C45009) Cassette Condition: Unplayed
Cover Condition: Ex (blister pack has edge wear & creasing)
Notes: very limited
Description: Cassingles rarely sold in Canada and were done in tiny numbers. This one is one of the few that would not have been opened, and most of the people who bought it discarded the blister pack card.
Title/Label: Don’t Need A Gun (melt down mix) Idol X
Vinyl Condition: Ex (light marks, hair lines and scuffs)
Cover Condition: stock white sleeve with wear and word promo in black ink
Notes: B-side is Don’t Need a Gun (Acapella Version) + Fatal Charm
Description: UK white label promo. Far less rare than the cassettes above, but a nice addition as a freebie!
Title/Label: Hot In The City (CHS P 2625)
Vinyl Condition: Ex (light marks and scratches)
Cover Condition: Original clear vinyl sleeve with some wear
Description: I played the 45 as it’s tough to grade pic discs or colored vinyl visually. It had some initial light static first on the A-side, then played even better on the B-side.
Title/Label: Hot In The City/Catch My Fall (4320)
Vinyl Condition: Ex (light marks)
Cover Condition: Ex (some edge creasing & light ring wear on back)
Notes: Canada pressing 2nd issue sleeve
Description: B-side is a remix. 1983 issue.
Title/Label: Hot In The City/Hole in The Wall (CHS 2605)
Vinyl Condition: M- (lovely shiny and new looking)
Cover Condition: Vg+ (writing, record impression)
Notes: Canada pressing 2nd issue sleeve
Description: Rare 1982 original issue.
Title/Label: To Be A Lover
Vinyl Condition: Ex (light scuffing)
Cover Condition: Vg+ (some record impression and strange “pin marks”
that I didn’t notice at first)
