Description
GREAT copy of the first pressing of Bill Evans "Portrait in Jazz" on Riverside Black label. This is the one you want: Stereo (Londjazzcollector says: "Bill Evans DEMANDS to be listened to in Stereo"), first pressing black label, deep groove, and CLEAN. There are NO scratches and NO paper scuffs. There is, however, what appears to be very small pressing flaw (size of pin) on last track of the album. It creates a click/pop for 8-9 revolutions. I also detected what seemed like a little extra sibilance about a minute before and after this mark (see pics) which makes me think it's a pressing flaw as the vinyl looks pristine otherwise. There is one tiny light mark on side one (see pic) but it is superficial and cannot be heard. Aside form the tiny speck of a pressing flaw, this looks like a new reissue its so beautifully glossy and pristine. And the sound is gorgeous. Clear and dynamic through my Zyx Universe.
