Mega Rare LP of Bill Evans - Portrait in Jazz (Riverside 1162 - stereo) Early 1960s Orpheum label edition - NOT a current re-issue. Possibly Evans' best LP also features Scott La Faro and Paul Motian in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile but not trashed either - still, you will hear noise on this one. The cover is in VG/VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear all around (especially at the opening - see the photo for a previous repair attempt including re-drawing some of the letters at the top of the cover), and clear tape (old) on all seams. NO stickers, NO stamps. NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at this price?
