Description
Bill Evans
"New Jazz Conceptions"
Product
Record Grade: VG
The record plays very well. Some tracks better than others. There are a few scratches here and there but nothing can be felt. Playback is big and clear. There are occasional pops and the record plays with surface noise, particularly noticeable during quiet sections. With a true professional cleaning, I think this record will sing.
Cover Grade: VG+
Overall a really nice cover. Please see the pictures.
Shipping
My preferred shipping method will be USPS Priority Mail.
Contact
My understanding is that only a few hundred of this album even exist today. It's an extraordinary rarity. Please reach out directly with any questions regarding this auction.
Grading Scale
All records are visually graded under a very bright light. Will play grade on request. Please reach out if you have any specific questions regarding an auction item
NM
Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. This grade is very rarely used.
VG++
May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.
VG+
A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.
VG
Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
VG-
A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
G
Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range
