Description

Riverside RM 445 Blue and silver label, deep groove; Bill Grauer Production. 6 tracks with the Evans Quintet. Includes Evans, piano; Freddie Hubbard, trumpet; Jim Hall, guitar, Percy Heath, bass; Philly Joe Jones, drums. One of the few records that Evans is heard as a leader of a small group with a horn player. Cover: VG+ Intact 1 corner shows some fraying and there is a minor blemish on the insert edge. There is a small amount of edge and corner wear. Light aging on the back cover. Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are several light, brush-like rub marks which are barely visible. A small amount of discoloration in the vinyl which noes not effect the sound. There are a few clicks and a very few intervals of light crackles, however, most of the record plays with no surface noise. It has been played several times. The described noise is infrequent and audibly only on slow tunes. Audibly checked.
