Explorations, Everybody Digs and New Jazz Conceptions


Due to the current situation there may well be interruptions to postal/ courier deliveries & services. However, parcels are still getting through. We must all be patient and courteous in these difficult times. We will get through this.

This is a lot of 3 "Riverside" LP's. These are all early 1980's pressings. They replicate the original 1950's & 1960's LP releases. This is a great way to acquire these LP's at a reasonable price. The original pressings of these albums now go for a considerable amount. I have listed & graded them individually below:


1. Explorations (Riverside/ Original Jazz Classics OJC 037 LP 1961)

Early 1980's "Original Jazz Classics" LP pressing. Manufactured in the USA. It still comes with its original shrinkwrap. It also has its original Obi. The previous owner has torn the back part of the Obi away for some reason. The sleeve is printed on matt card. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. 

Sleeve: It has its original shrinkwrap. This has been neatly opened at the sleeve opening area. As stated, the back part of the obi has been torn away. It has its original early 1980's UK record shop (HMV) price sticker on the front. This is on the shrinkwrap - not on the sleeve. Otherwise, minimal wear only. EX+ condition

Vinyl: There are some light or very minor sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The paper inner sleeve has left some light, mild or very mild surface marks on the vinyl. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. There is a very small circular sticker on both labels. Otherwise, the labels show minimal spindle wear. The company paper inner sleeve is in Near EX condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear & creasing. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall.


2. Everybody Digs Bill Evans (Riverside/ Original Jazz Classics OJC 068 LP 1958)

Early 1980's "Original Jazz Classics" LP pressing. Manufactured in the USA. It still comes with its original shrinkwrap. It also has its original Obi. The previous owner has torn the back part of the Obi away for some reason. The sleeve is printed on matt card. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. 

Sleeve: It has its original shrinkwrap. This has been opened at the sleeve opening area. As stated, the back part of the obi has been torn away. Otherwise, there is some very mild rubbing wear to one corner tip. EX condition

Vinyl: There are some light or very minor sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The paper inner sleeve has left some light, mild or very mild surface marks on the vinyl. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. VG++ condition. There is a very small circular sticker on both labels. Otherwise, the labels show minimal spindle wear. The company paper inner sleeve is in Very Near EX condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall, & Excellent in some places.


3. New Jazz Conceptions (Riverside/ Original Jazz Classics OJC 068 LP 1958)

Early 1980's "Original Jazz Classics" LP pressing. Manufactured in the USA. It has its original Obi. The previous owner has torn the back part of the Obi away for some reason. It has been put iside the sleeve too. The sleeve is printed on matt card. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. 

Sleeve: There is some light or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There are a couple of small areas of light or very mild rubbing wear to the bottom edge too. As stated, the back part of the obi has been torn away. There is some creasing on the obi too. Very NEAR EX condition

Vinyl: There are some light or very minor sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The paper inner sleeve has left some light, mild or very mild surface marks on the vinyl. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. VG++ condition. There is a very small circular sticker on both labels. Otherwise, the labels show minimal spindle wear. The company paper inner sleeve is in Very Near EX condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear & creasing. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall.
