Description
Sub titled "Considerations 1972-1976". FORE 80/Five Indentification on the white label on 1 side of the record. This label also identifies all the tunes. All compositions are by Dixon. The reverse side of the record has a black label with FORE logo in white. Side 1 begins with a short (14 second) trumpet solo by Dixon performed at Bennington College. Track 2 is 11:50 and is an Orchestral pieced played by Dixon and Orchestra performed a the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Track 3 is a duo with Dixon, trumpet, and Henry Letcher, drums. Side 2 begins with another track with Dixon and Letcher. The 2nd and final track is with Dixon, Fim Tiff, trumpets; Jeff Hoyuer, trombone; Jay Ash, baritone sax, Chris Billias, percussion. The artwork on the cover by Dixon is repeated in a larger format in an insert in the record jacket. The record is contained in a carboard jacket with a black and white sketch(dated 1974) by Dixon. This is an incredible graphic presentation along with the record.
