Hello everybody! This is indeed Big Star #1 Record on LP. ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING!!!
This is definitely your big chance to finally own the greatest album of all time. I already have an extra copy so I will be selling a duplicate copy that I have right now.
First, there is a punch hole in the upper left corner of the cover. Second, there's a tiny split in the bottom right. Thirdly, there's a little peeling of the back cover on the top. Lastly, there's some scuffs and a long hairline scratch on side one. NOT a deep one because it does not skip at all which leads to the play test analysis.
I have listened to this album and I would rate the sound as mostly Excellent. There's still some background cackling in places and passages between songs, but not that irritating to the point you don't want to revisit this great album. No wonder many people that I've talked to claimed it is one of the best sounding albums ever. Plus, it has been cleaned by a VPI - HW - 165 Record Cleaning Machine so special thanks goes out to a record dealer for cleaning it.
Also, here are some proof that this is NOT a reissue: there's no "Manufactured by Concord Music Group, Inc." or "4 Men with Beards" anywhere on this, Matrix A Run-Out reads: STXS - 0178-5 AS - 0401 h 50N K - 5464 and Matrix B reads: STXS-0261-6 AS-0406-RR MII L.NIX THE MORE YOU LEARN THE LESS YOU KNOW K-5525 50N
