Description

Beverly's voice was beautiful, was hip, was a head of its time. Some compared her to Billie Holiday but I think she had a unique groove that was all her own.
This lp has no skips but does have some pops and crackling sounds. It doesn't matter, her voice will carry you back in time and you'll forever carry Beverly in your heart.
Like so many gifted artists, she died too young from drugs and alcohol. She killed herself in 1960, in her Greenwich apt.
She recorded just three albums before ending her life.
