This auction is for a STILL SEALED, NUMBERED (6 of 7) Test Pressing box set pressed on CLARITY Vinyl of the Classic Records 200gram reissue of Beethoven's "The Nine Symphonies" with Joseph Krips conducting the London Symphony Orchestra. This test pressing set includes all nine symphonies spread over 10 discs and includes a bonus 45 rpm disc of the Egmont Overture. These highly collectible test pressings are from the first stamper and less than 20 exist. Test pressings reflect the closest you can get to the lacquers and hence have a special collectible value and store of value. ??As a bonus, this set is packaged in the box from the original Classic Records release. Booklet is also included. Each test pressing comes STILL STEALED in a white jacket. All records have test pressing labels and are pressed on Classic's proprietary 200g SV-P II CLARITY Vinyl.
