Description
The Beatles-"Yesterday & Today" LP, Capitol T-2553, Mono pressing, released in 1966. This is the iconic "Butcher" cover, in it's third (peeled) state. I've provided plenty of pictures as, in this LP's case, they are truly worth a thousand words. The Butcher front is in overall great shape, with light general wear; there's a very tiny defect just to Ringo's right and to the bottom right corner. Also some very light wear and a spot of discoloration to the left of John. The seams have born the brunt of the wear to this cover. The side seam has been completely split and repaired (with glue, not tape). The top back, just below the seam, has also almost completely split and has also been repaired with glue. There is some white-out on parts of this and along part of the top front. There is a 3 1/2" bottom seam still split at the LP's mouth. The back shows some general age wear. I've seen much, much worse examples of this cover. Again, the Butcher picture itself is in overall very nice condition. The LP is included, in VG condition. The original inner sleeve is not included.
