Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band 1967

1st Pressing

PCS 7027-Stereo

Matrix: YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1

Stampers: 2GMG and 33GAA

Both sides of the vinyl appear visually near perfect, even when tilted towards a bright light there are no significant marks. On the turntable the surfaces display an 'oily' gloss finish normally only seen on a new disc. Playback delivers crystal clarity on all tracks, only to be expected from this fabulous example. Naturally, there are no stalls, jumps or clicks. As with any vinyl disc, there is the occasional mild dust pop here and there.

The labels are in superb condition, with all text vibrant and umdamaged. There is the usual collection of spindle trails but these are only really evident when angled towards a light.

The cover is in good order, with all text intact on the spine. Although it has no real problems, it is in a fairly tired state but still in better shape than most originals.

The 'Fool' inner sleeve is torn down the entire length of the white side, although it is sharp along the seam and could be taped. There is also a split at the bottom where the disc has penetrated. Some fool has written PCS7027 STEREO, top RH corner too.

The Sgt. Pepper insert is near perfect.

All in all, a fine and complete example of this iconic album, including a fabulous disc.

I have other Beatles items listed, please take a look.

Please note: I am happy to sell world wide but please do not email me about postal cost. Your item will be well packaged and sent by air, insured and requiring a signature (also trackered, where available). As well as the cost of postaged there is also the cost of the packaging to consider. If you object to the amount then please don't bid. Thank you.
