Sealed albums are non-returnable if they have been opened. (That’s fair, isn’t it?)
Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.
So with that said…
Beatles-Related LP Ringo Self-Titled 1973 First Pressing Still Sealed!
For those unfamiliar, first pressings of Ringo’s 1973 self-titled LP listed the second track on Side 1 as “Have You Seem My Baby,” written by Randy Newman. Very shortly after, the song’s title was changed to “Hold On,” on both the album cover and record label. The vast majority of the time, when you find this album open or still sealed, it will have the more common title listed. See compere photos.
This copy has the original “Have You Seen My Baby” title.
Vinyl--- NM SEALED.
Plates--- NM SEALED.
Cover--- EX SEALED. Both sides have some moderate ringwear which is entirely limited to the shrinkwrap, and not affecting the cover at all. Back cover has a tear that has been neatly taped to prevent further splitting.
There is no promo hole present, which narrows this pressing down to either the Winchester or Jacksonville plants.
Book--- The lyrics book is included, illustrated by Klaus Voorman. You can feel it inside the cover. (Be sure to see Klaus’ autograph on the Revolver copy for sale this week!)
Breathe Holes--- There are two breathe holes on the front cover. The first one is to the top left, just above the crowd’s heads. The other is due south, in the reflected letter “R” in “Ringo.”
Labels--- NM SEALED.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- NM SEALED.
CAUTION! There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids. A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.
Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!
(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
