READ THIS!

Sealed albums are non-returnable if they have been opened.  (That’s fair, isn’t it?)

Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

So with that said…

Beatles-Rel. George Harrison 2-LP CANCELLED 1982 Concert for Bangla Desh SEALED NM!

For those unfamiliar, in 1982, Capitol Records had planned to reissue George’s “The Concert for Bangla Desh” as a double album, since it had been out of print for a full decade.  (This issue is likely on the black Capitol label with the colorband.)  George, however, insisted upon immediate halt of the production, because of the fact that the album’s proceeds were still to go toward the Bangla Desh relief project.  After the majority of the money went missing from the initial release, George, not being stupid, refused to allow that to happen again.  Therefore, this reissue never saw the light of day as a commercial release.

A very few of these copies made it into the hands of collectors.

Vinyl--- NM SEALED.

Plates--- NM SEALED.

Cover--- NM SEALED.  The shrinkwrap is still tight, 100% intact with NO SPLITS.  Gorgeous seal.  Slight record outdent to both sides.

Breathe Holes--- There are two breathe holes on the front cover.  Both are to the right of the front cover graphic.  One is to the right of the word, “Desh,” and the other is due south, just below where the graphic ends.  See photo.

Labels--- NM SEALED.

Capitol Inner Sleeves--- NM SEALED.

It’s going to be many more years before one of these will be offered for sale, and who knows how much it will have appreciated in value by then.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
