Description

The Beatles-"Now Again!", EMI OL-107, UK export LP for the Korean market, released in 1975. Rather than give my own description of this LP, I'm going to paraphrase from the rarebeatles website. They tell it better than I can. (to see this LP for yourself, and get a list of the songs on it, go to www.rarebeatles.com; on the homepage, click on "rare collectibles", then go to "records & discs", scroll down 20 lines, and there it is). From the rarebeatles site: (paraphrasing): "this compilation album is the only album ever authorized by EMI that contains solo songs from all four Beatles. Mfd in the UK on the EMI label this is an extremely rare export album. In addition, under the catalog number on the label is "For Broadcast Only" (actually, it says: "Only For Broadcasting"), which seems to denote that this is a promotional copy; perhaps a promotion only release! On the label is a Korean tax sticker. On the back cover a separate catalog number is shown for each of the songs, which appears to indicate their single release in Korea. It's one of the world's rarest Beatles albums; so far only two copies have been confirmed to exist". Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- condition, with a few very very fine marks, and one superficial scuff mark on side one, approximately 2" X 1/4". You really have to search for these marks, they are so fine and light; only one is readily seen without really looking. Some would have no problem calling this NM, but I want to be as exact as possible. LP labels are in NM condition; the tax stamp is lifting from the label on one corner. Cover is in strong VG+ condition, with extremely light general age wear. The only real flaws are 4" loss of top layer of paper in top left corner (see pic), and some fool drew glasses on Ringo's face (see pic). However, with the scarcity of this LP, these flaws are minor indeed. This is only the second time in 8 years on eBay that I've set a reserve on a record, but I feel I have to in this case, and it's reasonable considering what you're bidding on: "one of the rarest Beatles LP's in the world". Bid now, as you'll probably never see another one; this is a must for the serious Beatles collection. Any questions please e-mail me. US shipping is $4.00 Media Mail; Priority Mail available upon request. Check out my other auctions for more rare vinyl and CD's. Thanks for looking.
