Paul McCartney’s “This One” was issued in the U.S. as a cassette and CD single, but not a vinyl 45 rpm single. Yet, this very rare 7-inch, 45 rpm white-label promo WAS released to U.S. radio stations only. It was the first McCartney single released in the U.S. exclusively on CD and cassette single with no actual commercial 7-inch single produced.
Goldmine magazine rated this as one of the 5 rarest McCartney records of all time, with only 500 copies pressed!
