A contract copy with grooved labels (possibly CBS), intended for distribution in countries with no pressing plants. Interestingly, each label displays the record speed as 33 only and as well as side 1 and 2 there is an A and B after the catalogue number. Also there are no publishing credits for any of the songs
Superb clear sound with a little surface noise, mainly through the run ins
There is little to fault on this copy which plays from start to finish without interruption, delivering a great listening experience
The deep glossy surfaces suggest careful play on top equipment, showing just a few light lines here and there, only visible in bright light
Even under a halogen bulb, there only appears to be the lightest of wispy handling lines
A lovely example which would be hard to improve upon

The labels are undamaged, with all silver/grey text in vibrant condition
The side 2 label displays some bumpy patches, caused during manufacture, by the hot vinyl under the paper
Both sides have the usual collection of spindle trails and display the rarities described above

Printed specifically for export, this cover displays the Parlophone logo instead of the usual, UK Apple logo
The cover is completely intact but does display a fair amount of laminate creases and marks, as well as edge rubbing
However there are no tears

The original patented plain inner sleeve is completely intact, with no splits or tears, just age toning and a little staining

All in all, a rare variant of this iconic album, in great condition
