This is a 'one off' which would certainly suit anyone wishing to compile a near mint 'Beatles' collection
On offer here, is a near pristine first pressing of a single that had a whopping 1.5 million advance orders in the UK before it's release
In order to cope, EMI had other companies contracted to help with production and this copy was pressed by Oriole with some interesting features
Stamper 9 has a very faint 8 above it and stamper 16 a 22 - there are no letters at 3 o'clock - the push out centre is rough textured - KT tax code is stamped above the numbers and not in the centre - the outer edge of the disc is very thin

The Vinyl
Visually: The composition of the vinyl used, produces a mirror finish to both surfaces - both sides are close to immaculate with no more than the wispiest of handling/removal lines under reflected bright light - could only be bettered by a mint copy

Fabulous vibrant silver text and rich black, unfaded surfaces - it is fair to say that this disc has obviously been played and the textured centres are perfect at hiding any spindle trails but as a carefully handled library copy, play would have been minimal, on top equipment, giving the appearance and sound of an unplayed item

Genuine company issue, with TV company sticker and reference code matching the disc - top condition - age toning/creases
