This original issue, is truly a very rare pressing
Almost all Abbey Road discs display a side one matrix code YEX 749-2. When the lighter apple 'A side' labels were introduced throughout the 1970's these still carried the same code. Amongst the early 'Dark Apple' labels this seldom seen A-3U variant appeared on some EMI issues. However, this ultra rare example is definitely a contract pressing, having no stamper letters, a curious raised ring (not Decca) and rough textured label surfaces

The Vinyl
Visually: Stunning deep gloss surfaces - appearing pristine - a few wispy handling lines under reflected bright light
Audio: Plays like new throughout - tiny background noise at the start of Here Comes The Sun (barely audible) - nothing more than static hum during the 20 second silence before Her Majesty (no pops or crackle) - fabulous copy

The Labels
Top condition - no damage or writing - rough textured labels disguise any spindle trails - unusual raised ring (similar to Decca)

Original 1st issue - no real problems - general ageing

Inner Sleeve
Plain white company issue - general ageing
