The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. The Beatles-"The Beatles Collection", BC-13, a fourteen LP limited edition boxed set, released by Capitol in 1978. This is the original US set and was limited to 3000; this box is number 1870. Although this is a US pressing, the LP's are on Parlophone (until "The White Album", when the label switched to Apple) in their original UK configuration. This box is in VG condition, showing some age wear; a little damage to one corner and a spot on the bottom (see pictures) and the blue has faded some over time. There is evidence of a previous sticker over the number on the front.

All LP's are Stereo. A couple of the LP's were played as I see some spindle marks; most appear unplayed. They are graded as follows (cover/vinyl):

2)"With The Beatles". NM- (slight rub mark at top middle (not unusual with this set; I've seen sets where they all had this rub)/NM

5)"Help!". NM- (tiny bit of ring wear on back)/NM-

6)"Rubber Soul". NM/NM

7)"Revolver". NM/NM

8)"Sgt. Pepper". NM/NM. Includes NM cutout

9 & 10)"The Beatles" ("White Album"). NM- (tiny bit of discoloration along the top)/both LP's NM. Includes NM poster and four portraits

11)"Yellow Submarine". NM/NM

12)"Abbey Road". NM/NM

13)"Let It Be". NM- (crease in bottom right corner)/NM

14)"Rarities". This is in a paper cover with a partial slit at the bottom/NM-

That's it. While this has been re-released several times, this is the original and is in overall great shape.
