Description
The Beatles 45rpm Parlophone Demonstration disc of
“From me to you / Thank you girl”
The EMI realised with the exception of the export singles a promotional record of each Parlophone single. The white promotional labels, marked with a great red A on the A-Side, were produced between 1962 and 1966.
Vinyl:
A-Side: The side is still in an excellent condition with only light traces of using. There are no scratches or other kind of damages to detect.
The stamps are excellent to be seen.12 o´clock: no stamper-code
3 o´clock: A
6 o´clock: 7XCE 17329-1N
9 o´clock: MT 1
A glossy shine has survived over the 45 years.
B-Side: The condition is the same as it was described for the A-Side. No damages and no scratches are to be detect. With the exception of the 6 0´clock stamper (7XCE 17330-1N), all the numbers are the same.
Conclusion: This disc was carefully stored over the years. In my collection, the disc was stored in an inner plastic sleeve and in an outer hardcover of carton.
Label:
The Parlophone label of the A-Side, which contains the big A hasen´t any damages. But it is marked with an pencil (the name RON is written 3 times), which can not be cleaned. This is the only mistake. The B-Side is free and clean. The paper has no damages and is still in an excellent condition. A beauty.
Sleeve:
The outer sleeve is not the original paper-sleeve. The disc comes in an inner plastic sleeve and a green Parlophone-sleeve (EMITEX).
